(The Great Spaces)
Reach the hamlet of Campestre (26 km) by following the D999 in the direction of Millau.
Shortly after the Col de la Barrière, turn left and follow the D270 to Campestre then to Luc.
Both villages are situated on the Causse du Larzac, where the vast expanses offer wild landscapes.
Return to Alzon. Turn right in the village (D514) and join Vissec.
The road runs along the dry bed of the Vis; the river is underground until the resurgence of the Foux.
Continue on the D113 to go up the plateau and arrive at Blandas.
Between the two villages, don't forget to stop at the orientation table and the information panels explaining the life of the causse. From the Blandas belvedere, 1.5 km from the village, you can admire the impressive Cirque de Navacelles.
Go down to Navacelles, at the bottom of the circus, via a winding road.
In one of them is the start of the path towards the Moulins de la Foux. At Navacelles, you will find the Vis and a cool break!
Go up to St Maurice de Navacelles then, following the direction of Ganges, start the descent towards the Vis gorges, a magnificent canyon dug into the limestone.
At Madières, turn left and go up again on the causse and arrive in Rogues.
Follow the D48, go through Montdardier.
At the end of the village, turn right and visit Pommiers, go back down to Avèze and join Le Vigan.
