The climb to the top of the Gard via the Col du Minier (D48) is gentle and regular and does not present any particular difficulties. A little respite after the Minier pass even allows you to restart the machine to L'Espérou and start the climb to the Serreyrède pass and the Mont Aigoual observatory, which rises to 1567 m. From there, straddling the Gard and Aveyron, when the sky is clear you can see ? of France, from the Alps to the Pyrenees (always bring warm clothes when you go up to Aigoual). You can eat there part of the year.
The return, after crossing the Espérou, will begin with a descent through the hairpins that lead to Valleraugue. Then you will follow the Hérault on a false flat descending to Pont d'Hérault before taking the D999 back to Vigan.
Electric bike charging station in the observatory parking lot (bring your cable).
