Ambassadors Causses & Cévennes UNESCO

A network of tourist and agricultural actors has been developed to bring the Causses and Cévennes territory to life and promote the values conveyed by UNESCO and agropastoralism.

This network is essential for relaying the actions of the institutions involved in the management of the property  because it is a sign of the effective appropriation of the Causses and Cévennes by the people who live there on a daily basis.

Tourist taxes

The tourist tax exists in most French and foreign tourist communities. Collected by the accommodation providers, it is paid in full to the local authority, which devotes it entirely to expenditure linked to improving your welcome: running the tourist offices, organising events and activities, maintaining public spaces, walking and hiking trails, improving sports and leisure facilities, etc. You are therefore the direct beneficiary of what you pay.

If you wish to know the amounts of the tax for the different categories of accommodation, we can send them to you on request.
